Newbury Racecourse is delighted to announce that HRH Prince Harry, as patron of the charity Walking With The Wounded and 2012 Everest Challenge, will be attending Betfair Super Saturday at the Berkshire track on Saturday 11 February.
The second race, live on Channel 4, has been generously re-named by Betfair in recognition of the WWTW 2012 Everest Challenge, and is now called the “Betfair Supports Walking With The Wounded Handicap Hurdle” and the winning trophy will be presented by HRH Prince Harry.
During the afternoon, the Prince will spend valuable time with the 2012 Everest Summit Team, including North Pole veterans Martin Hewitt and Jaco Van Gass along with Karl Hinnett, David Wiseman and Francis Atkinson, as well as enjoying the day’s racing.
