The delightful combination of a Saturday Ladies Day followed by a live Boyzone concert at Newbury Racecourse has proved a huge hit and as a result tickets are selling fast!

The CGA Ladies Day taking place on Saturday 16th August really does have something for everyone young and old; per una goodie bags for the first 200 ladies through the Premier Enclosure entrance, a Best Dressed Racegoer and Best Hat competition, fun fair and much more.

Lisa Ward, Sponsorship and PR Manager at Newbury Racecourse commented: “This already popular fixture was boosted when it was announced that the Irish sensations, Ronan, Stephen, Mikey, Shane and Keith who make up the hit boyband Boyzone were going to be playing live after the last race. Boyzone have sold over 15 million records world-wide and amassed six number-one hit singles, four number one albums and 16 top-ten hit singles so it’s hardly a surprise that the demand for tickets is so high”.

Irish heartthrob Ronan Keating who is great friends with legendary jockey Frankie Dettori has also enjoyed a hugely successful solo career, clocking up a total of 14 UK top 10 singles as well as three UK Number One albums in addition to nearly two and a half million copies worldwide. Also in October Ronan was entered in the Guinness Book of Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK chart.

Ticket sales are extremely strong with over 10,000 Grandstand and Premier Tickets sold so far and The Hennessy and Racegoers Restaurants are sold out.
