Race Day Information / Owners Facilities

BADGE ALLOCATION
We have one of the most generous badge schemes for owners in the country.
If you arrange your badges prior to the raceday, you’re entitled to:
 

• 6 badges for a single owner
• 10 badges for a Partnership/Syndicate
• Extra badges can be purchased at half price (not available on Hennessy Gold Cup Day)

If you have not pre-arranged your badges, you’re entitled to:

• 4 badges for a single owner
• 6 badges for a Partnership/Syndicate
• Extra badges on the day can be purchased with a £5 discount off the published price

Owners with runners can collect their entry badges at the Owners and Trainers entrance, adjacent to the Main Entrance.  Please remember to bring your PASS card.

ROA PASS Card Holders are entitled to two badges (normally one at other racecourses) at every meeting except Hennessy Gold Cup Day, providing you show your valid ROA card.

CAR PARKING
At Newbury car parking is free of charge and labels are not required, however we do have a reserved area for owners displaying their ROA badge.

DRESS CODE
The Owners and Trainers Facilities are in the Premier Enclosure so we do encourage Racegoers to wear smart attire, although a tie is not essential for gentleman, it is preferred. Smart jeans are acceptable but no shorts, t-shirts, vests, tracksuits or sportswear (including trainers) are permitted in the Premier Enclosure.

COMPLIMENTARY LUNCHES
Following discussions with the ROA, and in an effort to make your visit to Newbury even more enjoyable, we have introduced a complimentary free breakfast (National Hunt Season only) or main course lunch for all owners with runners at Newbury (up to 4 vouchers per runner). The voucher can be redeemed in The Brasserie, which is situated on the first floor of the Berkshire Stand. Please note the opening times are stipulated in your racecard.

 

FACILITIES
The Owners & Trainers Lounge on the first floor of the Berkshire Stand overlooks the racetrack and has a full bar and a selection of sandwiches. Complimentary Tea and Coffee is also available.
The Brasserie also located on the first floor, offers an informal dining experience, such as Smoked Salmon, Fish Pie etc, and does not require pre booking. The Owners & Trainers meal vouchers may be redeemed in The Brasserie.

Veuve Clicquot Owners & Trainers Lodge is adjacent to the pre-parade ring and main entrance. This is an exclusive area for Owners and Trainers and has a full bar including an extensive Veuve Clicquot Champagne selection, fine wine, as well as complimentary tea and coffee

The Hennessy Restaurant on the top floor of the Hampshire Stand and overlooks the Winning Post. Each race meeting a small number of tables are reserved for Owners, Trainers and their guests where you can reserve your table from as little as £10.50 per person and dine from our a la carte menu starting at £39 per person. Food and drinks to be settled on the day. Tables are allocated on a first come first served basis.

WINNING & PLACED CONNECTIONS
Winning connections are invited to the Royal Box to review their race and to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne and are given a free DVD of the race.  Placed connections can also enjoy a glass of champagne and are given a chance to review their race as well.
