Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire is an ideal venue for that special day.  Set in over 360 acres of grounds and with the flexible areas offered within its Grandstands and Pavilions, we are among the best wedding venues in the South of England.
Full wedding packages are available, however we can also tailor each event to suit all tastes and budgets. Highlights include:

The Grandstand Our largest wedding venue designed by Lord Foster with capacity for up 1000 guests and stunning views over the racecourse. The Grandstand
The Grandstand is not only our largest wedding venue but also by far the largest in the area. This spectacular building was designed by Lord Foster and was opened in November of 2000 to wide acclaim.

The Grandstand restaurant on the 2nd floor, which can accommodate up to 700 guests for a wedding, is completely pillar free and has stunning views across the racecourse. Unsurprisingly this area is a very popular wedding venue and it is important to book early.

If an even larger area is required the ground floor of the Grandstand can seat up to 1,000 guests, this large area can be easily decorated or themed to create a truly spectacular wedding venue.

Catering can either be supplied by our in-house catering team or if specialist catering is required this can be bought in on approval.

With views across the race course and access to the lawns in front of the stand the Berkshire Stand is an ideal wedding venue.

The contemporary style Hennessy Suite on the 2nd floor of The Hampshire Stand is a superb facility for weddings of up to 300 people.

Designed to a modern finish the restaurant offers stunning views across the racecourse during the day and at night takes on the atmosphere of a contemporary banqueting room.

On the 1st floor the state of the art Lambourn Suite is an excellent area for reception drinks and once again has beautiful panoramic views across the racecourse.

In front of the stand is a beautiful grassed area, ideal for the wedding photos and easily accessible from the reception area.

Royal Box Ideal for smaller exclusive weddings and can accommodate up to 50 guests in sumptuous surroundings within the heart of the racecourse. Royal Box

The Royal Box is ideal for smaller exclusive weddings and can accommodate up to 40 guests and is newly available this year.

The Royal Box is ideal for small exclusive weddings, the area which is still used for its original purpose on race days can seat up to 60 guests for a wedding reception in spectacular surroundings.

Adjacent to the dinning room is the raised viewing area which overlooks the racecourse, this can be used for drinks prior to dinner as well as being a stunning location for the wedding photographs.

Pavilions & Marquees The pavilions are a permanent marquee structure overlooking the paddock area of the racecourse and are ideal for summer weddings. Pavilions & Marquees
The Pavilions are a permanent marquee structure and have become an increasingly popular summer venue on both race days and non race days.  Their location, with a garden area in front, assures both great photographs and views. An ideal alternative to a traditional summer wedding, the pavilions have a capacity for up to 300 guests.

The racecourse also has several other locations for marquees which are suitable for weddings of all sizes.
